Caroline Kone, PE

Caroline graduated from UNC Charlotte with a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering (2005) and a Master of Science in Civil Engineering (2007). Her focus is transportation and traffic and has experience with Traffic Impact Analyses, traffic signal timing, and intersection design. She has particular interest in traffic calming and pedestrian safety, recently completing a road diet near Lenoir-Rhyne University. She currently oversees the Traffic, Street, and Engineering Divisions at the City of Hickory where she maintains over 700 lane-miles of roadway, almost 200 signalized intersections, and all storm drainage within the City limits.
